When Audiobooks Go Wild

LOL! I’m dying y’all. This is something that actually happened to my sister. She had converted my first book into an audiobook—there are some apps that will do this for a PDF file—and she would listen to my book while she would travel for work. Anyway, Sam-mone had to pick up her step-son from school (a young teenager) and when she turned over the car her radio started playing my book through the speakers and the words were coming across the digital screen. Apparently, it was at a really juicy part. She tried to turn it down, but the words kept coming across the screen before she was able to fumble with the controls and turn it off. Poor kid heard and saw way too much. He looks at my sister with the widest eyes and asks, “What are you listening to?!” She called me that evening laughing and crying about it. Glad I’m not the only one who embarrasses the family with my writing.

Note to self: make sure your phone is disconnected from the radio before children enter the car. This video reminded me of it today. Sorry to embarrass you, Sam-mone.
